I'm nearly done with Lyra's quilt top. All I need to do is apply the borders (inner and outer). After that I'll decide on the applique *heart* I'm not sure if I want it on the front or back. The backing fabric will be here some time this week--along with the rest of the fabric for Jason's quilt (which I've mentally begun to refer to as Jetsam since it's aquatic and what not).
In effort to further control myself, I'm making a list of what I want to purchase so I don't let my wallet wander :x
- More yardage from Blush (Truffle Romance, Grunge Charmed, Admire Essence, Crush Charmed--I want to make a 9-patch&snowball combo with these fabrics)
- turnover in snippets (go with yardage already purchased)
- turnover in Figgy Pudding (to go with yardage & dessert roll already purchased)
- jelly roll in Martinique
- yardage from Wonderland (I'm not really sure I need this)
- .25 yard cuts from Hunky Dory
- .25 yard cuts from Flora & Fauna
- .25 yard cuts from MM Ta-Dots
- .25 yard cuts from Meadowsweet
- .25 yard cuts from Modern Meadow
- .25 yard cuts from Poppy
We'll see how well I stick to my list ;)
